Zeljka Micanovic was born in Tuzla, Bosnia and on 2008 she earned a First Class with honour MA in Graphic Art after a General Degree in Decorative Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata, in Italy. On 2009 she earned a MA in Fashion Stylist from the European Design Institute (IED) of Rome.

Since 2003 as Visual Artist she has been showing in National and International Exhibitions, receiving recognition and prizes for her work. Her last solo show was in Belgrade on 2010.
She now lives and works between Belgrade, Italy and Istanbul.
